German players celebrate their win over Belgium in March 2017

Germany arrived in the country on Tuesday evening ahead of Saturday’s Tatu City Series test against Kenya at the RFUEA Ground on Saturday 27 May 2017.

The side ranked 24th in the world, just a position below Kenya’s Simbas will hold their first training session in Nairobi on Wednesday, with their eyes trained on Saturday’s fixture which marks the start of Kenya’s international assignments for 2017.

JD Returns To Officiate Kenya-Germany Test

South Africa’s Cwengile “JD” Jadezweni returns to Nairobi to take charge of Saturday’s Tatu City Series test between Kenya’s Simbas and Germany. He will be assisted by Constant Cap and Andrew Karani.

This clash takes place at the RFUEA Ground where “JD” made his test officiating debut in last year’s test between Kenya and Hong Kong on Saturday 27 August 2016.

Zimbabwe’s Talent To Officiate Enterprise Cup Final
Zimbabwe’s Gandiwa Talent will be the man in charge of Saturday’s Enterprise Cup final between defending champions KCB and Kabras Sugar. He will be assisted by Moses Ndungu and Victor Oduor.

This match, which kicks off at 12.00pm at the RFUEA Ground will serve as a curtain-raiser to the Tatu City Series test match between Kenya and Germany at 4.00pm.

Noon Kickoff For Enterprise Cup Final

Saturday’s Enterprise Cup final between champions KCB and Kabras Sugar will kick off at midday at the RFUEA Ground.

This match will feature as a curtain raiser to the Tatu City Series clash between Kenya and Germany at 4.00pm

Cape Town Camp Was A Success

The Simbas returned from a 10 day training camp in South Africa at 1.00am on Tuesday morning and will resume training on Wednesday ahead of their Tatu City Series clash against a  Germany side that is ranked 24th, just one position below them. This match is set to take place at the RFUEA Ground on Saturday 27 May.


Speaking at the Jomo Kenyatta International  Airport after the team’s arrival, Team Manager Simiyu Wangila termed the camp as successful, saying it was a great learning experience for the team.

He further added that the side to take on the Germans would be named on Thursday morning.
