Glenwood Rugby
Day 1 and 3 of the U18 Craven week held in Middelburg, saw The KZN team play two different styles of their game, on day 1 the KZN team looked dangerous with the likes of Morne Joubert and Tristan Blewett, whilst No.8 Jaco Coetzee was excellent with ball in hand crashing through the SWD Defense, bit this unfortunately wasn’t enough for the KZN to keep themselves in lead, just missing a winning game to SWD in the final few minutes of the game.
The KZN team after having no games on day 2 and being rested on day three saw the KZN team going up against a tough Pumas side, with Glenwood Boy Jaco Coetzee captaining this game. The start of the first half saw the KZN team show great skill and strength, with the second half underway the Pumas came back strong breaking through the KZN defence to bring the score closer, in the end the KZN team was too strong for the Puma team, all points scored were by Glenwood boys (Curtis Jonas, Morne Joubert & Jaco Coetzee) and any three of them could have been man of the match. In the end the man of the match was given to eighth man Jaco Coetzee who had another blinder for KZN, carrying strongly, working hard popping up all over the show. The Results are as follows:
