VODACOM CUP ROUND 2: GOLDEN LIONS VS VALKE

Golden Lions head coach Russell Winter has made several changes to his side, ahead of Saturday’s Vodacom Cup clash against the Valke at Ellis Park.

In the forwards, Charles Marais moves into the starting side at loose-head prop, while Jacques van Rooyen shifts across to tighthead. Both Chris van Zyl and Stephan de Witt move into the starting XV.

In the backline, Guy Cronje will start at flyhalf as Willie du Plessis is moved across to inside centre. Stokkies Hanekom will start at outside centre, while Chrysander Botha is drafted in at fullback.

Ricky Schroeder will captain the side.

The match will kick off at 12h40.
