Toyota South Africa in partnership with the Toyota Cheetahs will be hosting a one of a kind experience for fathers, sons and even daughters on February 8th.

Having recently launched the ticket sales and with only a few remaining, it seems that Toyota Cheetah fans are eager to spend the day with players such as Adriaan Strauss, Heinrich Brussouw, Pieter (Lappies) Labuschagne, Trevor Nyakane, Coenie Oosthuizen, Sarel Pretorius and Raymond Rhule teaching them all that they know.

Says Toyota Cheetah Captain, Adriaan Strauss: “The team is very excited about this initiative and we cannot wait to meet our young fans to share our passion for the game with them!”

Added to the various coaching stations on the fun-filled day, will be the Toyota’s Toughest Dad competition, whereby rugby lovers are to arm-wrestle some of the big boys from the team. The proceeds from the competition will be donated to the non-profit organisation ENGO Free State, whilst the winners will receive signed photos with their arm wrestle competitor.

In an additional charity drive that will extend through-out the rugby season, all guests are encouraged to bring blankets, old toys and sports equipment as a donation pile will be started by Toyota and the players. This goodwill drive will also benefit ENGO Free State.

Limited tickets remain at a cost of R100 per adult and child couple and R50 extra per additional child — the package includes a kiddies lunch pack and goodie bag filled with great Toyota Cheetah memorabilia. The tickets are available at the Toyota Cheetahs store at Loch Logan (Waterfront) Mall. For those not based in the Free State, but eager to attend, an ‘Out of Towners’ element is available whereby fans can call through to the Waterfront based Cheetahs shop (051 448 1707) and confirm their bookings via a credit card payment.
