Hardie ruled out of RBS 6 Nations
The Scotland medical team provided the following squad update after yesterday’s 29-13 win over Wales at BT Murrayfield Stadium in the RBS 6 Nations.
Scotland and Edinburgh Rugby back-row John Hardie has been ruled out of the remaining RBS 6 Nations matches with a knee injury.
An MRI scan after the game confirmed the player damaged his medial collateral ligament (MCL) and is expected to be out for several weeks. He will take no further part in the championship.
Wing Tommy Seymour sustained a blow to the ribs in the act of scoring but was fine to continue. He is not considered a concern.
