SANZAR NEWS RELEASE

Hayden Triggs of the Blues received a red card for foul play during a Super Rugby match at the weekend.

Triggs is alleged to have contravened Law 10.4 (a) Punching or striking, in an incident that occurred in the 24th minute of the match between the Stormers and Blues at DHL Newlands in Cape Town on 21 February 2015.

The Case is to be considered in the first instance by SANZAR Duty Judicial Officer Robert Stelzner SC.

All SANZAR disciplinary matters are in the first instance referred to a Duty Judicial Officer hearing to provide the option of expediting the judicial process.

For a matter to be dispensed with at this hearing, the person appearing must plead guilty and accept the penalty offered by the DJO.
