The Hurricanes are back in action this Saturday after the Investec Super Rugby break and will head to Christchurch for their first match in the Garden City since 2009. That match was the last time the Hurricanes came out on top in the 21 encounters the two sides have had in Super Rugby, with a 30-24 win over the southerners.

This Saturday the Hurricanes line-up will be without Victor Vito (knee) and Cory Jane (ankle) as they are yet to overcome their respective injuries. Jack Lam (slight hamstring strain) has been bracketed with Karl Lowe for the number seven jersey.

Heading into this weekend’s match, the Crusaders are fourth on the table with 51 competition points and the Hurricanes are sixth with 45 points.

After this game the Hurricanes will have their second bye of the season before returning to Westpac Stadium on Friday 13th July for their final regular season match against the Chiefs.

Kick off this Saturday at AMI Stadium is 7.35pm.
