Injury forced changes to Vodacom Cheetahs side
Injuries have forced Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske into making a number of changes to his side ahead of Friday’s match against the Reds in Bloemfontein on Friday.
While Lionel Mapoe and Frans Viljoen are long term injury concerns for the Cheetahs they will also be without in-form fullback Hennie Daniller who is out with a kidney complaint.
This opens the door for Riaan Viljoen to make a return to the starting line-up a week after he was dropped for breaking team protocol.
Danwell Demas comes into the side as a replacement for Mapoe on the right wing while Ashley Johnson returns tp the starting line-up in place of Frans Viljoen.
