Injury Update for EP Kings
The Eastern Province Kings coaches will have their work cut out for them as they ponder their team selection this week ahead of the clash against the Vodacom Blue Bulls.
On the plus side, Charl du Plessis, who has been out with a rib injury, has been declared fit for selection, as has Gary van Aswegen, who missed out the last two games due to a groin strain.
Both Siyanda Grey and Thembelani Bholi are currently off sick with chest infections, and will most likely not be eligible to play on Friday, although they will be re-evaluated by the medical team on Wednesday.
Steven Sykes was also rested today as he was battling with a chest infection, but is still available for selection.
Junior Springbok, Aidon Davis, twisted his knee during training this morning. The medical team will evaluate him tomorrow to determine the extent of his injury.
Paul Schoeman and Tom Botha were both being rested after an intensive game against Western Province, but both will be available to play against the Bulls.
Shaun McDonald, who sustained a cut above the eye on Friday night, has been declared fit for the upcoming game.
