Jordaan to lead Cavaliers against Border in SRC opener
ZANDRÉ JORDAAN, veteran number eight of the Boland Cavaliers, will lead his side in their first Supersport Rugby Challenge match against Border at the Wolfson Stadium in Port Elizabeth on Sunday, 23 April 2017.
Head coach Randall Modiba has named an exciting match 22 to kick-off Boland’s SRC campaign, naming Fred Muller and Wayne Wilschut as co. vice-captains of the Boland Cavaliers.

The Border vs Boland Cavaliers match will form part of Supersport’s first ever Rugby Challenge festival and will be a curtain raiser to the Eastern Province vs Western Province match.
The program for the day:
10:30 – African Bombers vs PE Harlequins
13:00 – Border vs Boland Cavaliers
15:00 – Eastern Province vs Western Province
According to www.supersport.com, “festivals will be held at five different venues across the breadth and depth of South Africa” in the coming months.
“The Rugby Festivals will aim to embrace local communities to come out to support local clubs, as well as their provincial team in what promises to provide massive exposure to players and help establish new heroes in communities and provinces”
