The judgement following the disciplinary hearing of Sharks hooker Bismarck du Plessis’ on Monday was reserved until Tuesday.

Du Plessis appeared before a SARU judicial committee in Cape Town after he was cited for allegedly stamping on Toyota Free State Cheetahs flank Pieter Labuschagne in their Absa Currie Cup semifinal at Growthpoint Kings Park in Durban on Saturday, which contravened Law 10.4 (b). The Law states that a player must not stamp on or trample an opponent.

The player received a yellow card in the 65th minute following the incident.

Advocate André Oosthuizen, who was appointed the judicial officer, on Monday reserved his judgement until Tuesday.
