Kiwi NFL player Rhett Ellison to touch down with the Blues
New Zealand-born Minnesota Vikings and NFL player Rhett Ellison is paying a special visit to a Blues training tomorrow as the team prepares for their opening Investec Super Rugby match.
Ellison is just the third New Zealander to play in the NFL following the trail blazed by his father Riki, and David Dixon. He is also the grandnephew of T R (Tom) Ellison, the first New Zealand rugby captain, who led New Zealand on their 1893 tour of Australia.
Rhett Ellison will join part of the Blues’ skills session today.
