Regular try-scorer, Dan Kriel, will lead the Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-21 team against their Cell C Sharks counterparts on Friday when they meet in a crucial Absa Under-21 Provincial Championship clash in Durban.

The home side is just two points adrift of the visitors on the log, but have a game in hand, and with only a couple of rounds left, could move past the Blue Bulls into the final play-off position.
Kriel takes over the reins from injured Nicolaas Janse van Rensburg.
Coach Handré Marnitz replaced the injured captain with Riekert Hattingh, while Jsuandre Swanepoel returns at no8 and Heinrich Viljoen, who played there in last weekend’s defeat against Western Province, moves to flank.
Marnitz picked Joshua Stander at flyhalf in the other change to the starting team.
“We all realise how important a result is for us in Durban,” Marnitz said. “We are the defending champions and should not be in this position, so we have a lot to prove over the next couple of weeks.”

The team is: Dewald Human, Duhan van der Merwe, Marquit September, Dan Kriel (c), Philip Orffer, Joshua Stander, Theo Maree, Jsuandre Swanepoel, Riekert Hattingh, Heinrich Viljoen, Jason Jenkins, Le Roux Roets, Dayan van der Westhuizen, Corniel Els, Nqobisizwe Mxoli. Replacements: Arno van Wyk, Njabulo Gumede, Eli Snyman, Menzi Nhlabathi, JP Smith, Adrian Maebane, Ganfried May.
