LAND ROVER SIGNS ON AS OFFICIAL VEHICLE OF THE QANTAS WALLABIES
Rugby Australia today announced Land Rover has become the Official Vehicle partner of the Qantas Wallabies ahead of the 2018 season.
The three-year deal, which runs until the end of 2020, will see the Land Rover brand mark on the Gilbert Test match Rugby balls in all matches involving the Qantas Wallabies in Australia. The Land Rover logo will also appear on the back of the Qantas Wallabies team shorts.
Land Rover’s support of Australian Rugby now stretches across all levels of the game nationally from Club Rugby (Shute Shield) into the professional ranks with Super Rugby, and now to the Wallabies.
Land Rover is also firmly entrenched in the game globally, through partnerships with Rugby World Cup, the British and Irish Lions as well as several other national and club teams
. Rugby Australia CEO Raelene Castle said: “Land Rover have been fantastic supporters of Australian Rugby for several years through their partnerships at Super Rugby level and we are thrilled that they have extended this association to the Wallabies but also at Shute Shield level through Sydney University.
“This partnership will be incredibly beneficial for our Wallabies program and the synergies between the two brands run deep. Both pride themselves on performance and precision and that permeates through everything they do.
