Legoete does it again
Pro Legoete was crowned as the Golden Lions Rugby Union top referee at a gala function in Midrand on Thursday evening.
Legoete has walked away with the coveted prize since 2003 with the exception of one year and has been the top referee in Lions country. The 41 year old has 20 tests caps under his belt.
Ashleigh Murray was crowned as the Top Female referee as well as the Most Promising in the union and well deserved. She is on her way to the Cape Town Sevens in December.
These two were up against some stern competition from exciting young referees within the union and the Manager of Referees, Theuns Naudé, and his committee are to be commended for their sterling work.

Club of the Year: Pirates
