Lions host Pumas in season opener
An exciting Xerox Golden Lions side brimming with youth and excitement is ready to kick off the Currie Cup at home against the Phakisa Pumas on Saturday.
Ross Cronje will lead a very talented young Lions side,interspersed with experienced names like Marnus Schoeman, Johannes Jonker and Dylan Smith while players like Tyrone Green, Wandisile Simelane, Shaun Reynolds, Vincent Tshituka, Reinhard Nothnagel and Rhyno Herbst have all had a taste of Super Rugby and are rearing to go.
The main attraction kicks off at 15:00.
The rugby day will kick-off with the Xerox Golden LionsUnder 21 side vs the Leopards at 12:00.
