LIONS INJURY UPDATE
The Xerox Golden Lions medical group have released a report ahead of the team’s match against the Steval Pumas in Nelspruit this weekend.
Only one new injury was sustained during last weekend’s victory over the Cell C Sharks.
Loose forward Ruaan Lerm has sustained a grade II ankle ligament strain and is expected to be out of action for approximately four weeks.
Captain Jaco Kriel, who sustained a concussion during last weekend’s match, is recovering well and commenced a graded return to play (GRTP) programme on Monday. He is expected to be available for selection for Friday’s match.
