Lions vs Southern Kings Team Announcement
The Lions will be playing the Southern Kings on Friday, 11 February 2011 in their last warm up match ahead of the 2011 Super Rugby competition.
Following the Lions 82 – 19 win over Tucuman last night at Coca-Cola Park, John Mitchell, Head Coach of the Lions team said, “we are ready for the 2011 Super Rugby competition. I’m happy where we are in terms of training, preparation and conditioning. We have just one long term injury in Deon van Rensburg who will be out for about six weeks, but aside from that we have no injury worries”.

The Lions will be playing the EP Kings on Friday, 11 February 2011. The team will be announced on Thursday, 10 February 2011 to allow the coaching staff to assess the results/injuries/outcome from the Tucuman game.
