The Xerox Lions travel to Kimberley, the scene where the Currie Cup originated 128 years ago, to do battle with the Tafel Lager Griquas for the kick-off of the 2020 #CarlingCurrieCup on Saturday 28 November.

In a team that is marked by consistency this season Jaco Kriel joins the loose trio with Len Massyn and Vincent Tshituka, Willem Alberts will form a formidable lock partnership with Marvin Orie and the backline remain the same with just EW Viljoen replacing the injured Gianni Lombard.

Roelof Smith can get his first run this season if he gets the nod from the bench.

Elton Jantjies retains the captaincy for the Currie Cup.

Kick-off at Tafel Lager Park is at 16:30.
