Local rugby stars embrace Twitter
Apart from putting their bodies on the line every weekend to keep us entertained and with something to talk about around the braai, Bryan Habana, John Smit and Andries Strauss have another thing in common: They all embraced Twitter.
Rugby is still a long way off when compared to cricket and soccer but players are certainly getting there.
After a request from one of @Rugbyfifteen’s regular Twitter followers(@Bernie_ADT), I decided to compile a list containing the Twitter handles of most players on the local rugby scene.
