Cup Final tickets on sale from Tuesday

Meanwhile, the Golden Lions Rugby Union announced that tickets for the Premier Division final will be on sale from Tuesday 20 October from 09h00.

Ticket prices for the Final on Saturday are: A-category: R300; B-category: R250; C-category: R150; D-category: R100. They are available from Computicket and the ticket office at the Emirates Airline Park stadium.

According to the GLRU, season ticket holders will have access to their seats at no additional cost and they will have the opportunity to buy additional tickets on Monday (today) before tickets go on sale to the general public on Tuesday.

Furthermore, the GLRU are offering all Lions Season Ticket newcomers that purchase a Lions Season Ticket for 2016 during this week, a complimentary ticket to the 2015 Absa Currie Cup Final at Emirates Airline Park.

“Our supporters are important to us and we would like to see all of our current and new Season Ticket holders at the stadium. We want to encourage everyone to join the pride and defend the den with us”, said Rudolf Straeuli, Chief Executive Officer of the Xerox Golden Lions.

Straeuli said the GLRU considered the current tough economic climate and as a result, reduced the ticket prices for the Cup Final compared to 2011, when the union last hosted an Absa Currie Cup Final in Johannesburg.

In 2011, tickets ranged between R150 and R350, while the current price range is between R100 and R300 per ticket.
