McInnes Wilson Lawyers Brisbane City have named their side to take on the Perth Spirit in Round 6 of the Buildcorp National Rugby Championship this Sunday.

City coaches have made three changes to the match-day 23 for the game at University of Western Australia, with a shuffle in the backline offering Queensland U20s utility Jayden Ngamanu his first starting opportunity in the competition.

Ngamanu will start at fullback for City, after making his debut against the Western Sydney Rams in Round 2, with Perth product Brad Lacey shifting to outside centre.

An injury to reserve flanker Jack de Guingand (ankle) has forced one change to the bench, with Queensland U20s Tuaina Tualima coming in for his second match in the NRC.

City head coach Rod Seib said: “It’s a good test for us this weekend to head to Perth and earn a victory against a strong team. We’ve challenged the group to demonstrate what they’re capable of. We’ve seen it in patches this season, but nothing short of a consistent performance for 80 minutes will get us a win.”

Brisbane City plays Perth Spirit at UWA Sports Park this Sunday at 4:00pm AEST. The match will be live streamed at www.foxsports.com.au.
