Meet the Kings open day at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium
The EP Kings team will be meeting their supporters at an open day being held in association with the Kings Army and Future Kings at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium tomorrow between 9.30am and 12 noon.
The day, which is being hosted by the Kings Army, will include the players doing some coaching sessions with the older players from the Future Kings.
“It’s an open day, the kids will be on the field playing touch and tag rugby with the players assisting and mingling with the families and supporters,” said Kings Army chairman, Derrick Spies.
Spies said there would be chips and cooldrinks available for the supporters at the field.
“For those who are torn between coming down or watching the semi-final between the Sharks and Crusaders, the game will be shown on a big screen at the Kings Den at the EP Rugby offices and cash bar facilities will also be available,” he said.
“There is no admission fee and we encourage anyone who would like to come and meet the Kings players before their official Currie Cup season starts to come down to the stadium and pop in,” he said.
