MTN Golden Lions named to face GWK Griquas
The Golden Lions Rugby Union announced the MTN Golden Lions team to play GWK Griquas on Friday, 31 August 2012 at Coca-Cola Park, this morning.
There are five changes to the starting line-up that played DHL Western Province last weekend:
1. CJ van der Linde replaces Jacobie Adriaanse at Tighthead Prop following an injury to Adriaanse
2. Joshua Strauss moves from Right Flanker to Left Lock replacing an injured Hendrik Roodt
3. Jaco Kriel replaces Cobus Grobbelaar in a positional switch at Left Flanker
4. Willie Britz will make his first start for the MTN Golden Lions at Right Flanker (in place of Strauss who starts at Left Lock)
5. Ross Cronje starts at Scrumhalf in place of Michael Bondesio in a positional change
On the bench the following changes have been made:
1. Ruan Dreyer is Reserve Prop in place of CJ van der Linde who starts this weekend
2. Michael Rhodes returns to the squad following an injury at Utility Forward in place of Willie Britz who starts
3. Cobus Grobbelaar replaces Jaco Kriel at Utility Forward
4. Michael Bondesio is Reserve Scrumhalf in place of Ross Cronje
5. Alwyn Hollenbach is at Utility Back in place of Deon Helberg who moves to number 22 in place of Ruan Combrinck
