MATCH REPORT:
The Muir 1st’s ended their season on a low going down 6-23 to Graeme in Grahamstown this past Saturday. The Muir side was trailing 3-13 at the break.
The Graeme side used the space outside and ran in two tries putting Muir on the back foot. Centre Neo Pepeta tried to narrow the deficit with a penalty kick. Just before the break, Muir was caught off side and Graeme extended their lead with a penalty kick.
The College put the first points on the board in the second-half with Pepeta kicking a penalty. Graeme was good on the ground, slowed down Muir’s ball and not allowing them to gain momentum.
Graeme used their opportunities well, scored a converted try and kicked a penalty to take the game out of reach for the visiting Muir side.
