Action in the Nationwide league resumes with several fixtures across the Central, Western, Nairobi and Rift Valley regions.

CENTRAL
Leaders Kiambu host third-placed Chuka Vikings in what should be an exciting fixture in Ruiru.Kiambu sits pretty atop the standings with 23 points off five wins and a loss while Chuka lies third with 16 points off three wins and two losses and will certainly be spoiling for a fight against their hosts.

Second-placed MKU Thika is at home to sixth-place Zetech University as Muranga host Embu.
Basement sides Nanyuki Jackals and Karatina clash at the Nanyuki Sports Club. The Jackals sit the seventh log the log with two points off two wins and two defeats while Karatina lies eighth, having lost and forfeited all their five outings to date.

All matches will kick off at 3:00 PM in their respective venues.

NAIROBI
A total of seven matches is on the cards in the two pools of the Nairobi Regional League. Three of these matches take place in the varsity conference where Technical University of Kenya duel KCA University as Multimedia square it off with Nazarene in the Ongata Rongai derby while MKU Nairobi tackles Cooperative University.

The club conference has five matches on the cards, leaders Ngong RFC playing away to Masaku as second placed Comras take on the Dagoretti Bulldogs at the Peponi School. Third-placed Impala III have a noon date against Northern Suburbs at the Impala Club as nouveau riche SportPesa Quins III welcome Makueni to the RFUEA Ground.

RIFT VALLEY REGION
Menengai Oilers will be out to consolidate first place when they take on as they play second-placed Egerton Wasps in what is undoubtedly the region’s clash of the weekend. Oilers boast a 100% record, 25 points off five wins, five clear of the Wasps who lie second with 20 points off four wins a loss.

There will be a duel for bragging rights in Eldoret as Eldoret RFC host the Falcons at the Eldoret Sports Club. Eldoret Falcons will be hosted by Eldoret RFC at their sports club. The two are also separated by five points seeing, Eldoret RFC sitting third on the log with 20 points off four straight wins while fourth place Eldoret Falcons have 15 points from three wins and one loss.

Other fixtures in the region see fifth-placed Kabarak welcome Molo,Kitale face Kapsabet as Nakuru KITI await Kericho

WESTERN REGION
Bungoma host Webuye in the region’s only fixture

COAST REGION/ NYANZA
Action in the Coastal and Nyanza region will resume on the 21st of January.
