New Chief Financial Officer appointed to New Zealand Rugby
New Zealand Rugby (NZR) today confirmed the appointment of Nicki Nicol to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
The CFO, NZR’s primary financial advisor, is a critical leadership position for the organisation and provides financial insight to the executive team and the wider rugby community. The position includes heading up the organisation’s corporate services areas of Information Technology, Legal, People and Capability and Finance.
Nicki has returned to Wellington after a long tenure in senior executive roles at BP, working in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.
With a strong financial background, a qualified Chartered Accountant, Nicki also has extensive experience creating commercial value across strategic, sales and marketing portfolios.
NZR Chief Executive Steve Tew said Nicki would provide exceptional financial and corporate services leadership experience to the management team.
