NSW Waratahs team continue with unchanged line-up to tackle the Bulls
The NSW Waratahs have continued with the same team for their round 12 match against the Bulls at Allianz Stadium this Saturday night.
The team received welcome news this week with the same players available for selection. The Tahs will be looking to continue their impressive form following their 21-6 defeat over the Cheetahs in what was the NSW Waratahs 150th match victory last weekend.
Bernard Foley will become the Waratahs’ highest-ever Super Rugby-capped fly-half, surpassing previous record holder Daniel Halangahu. It is a huge testament to Foley’s commitment as he runs out for his 60th Super Rugby match in the number 10 jersey this Saturday.
Tatafu Polota-Nau will notch the second highest amount of games for NSW, running out for his 137th match for his home state this weekend, pipping Phil Waugh on 136 caps and behind Benn Robinson on 155.
Utility back, Matt Carraro is also set for a milestone, reaching his 50th Super Rugby cap this weekend, having played 45 games for the Waratahs and four for the Brumbies.
The Waratahs have won seven out of 10 matches when hosting the Bulls in Super Rugby, their last resulting in a 19-12 victory in 2014. Following last weekend’s success, the Waratahs currently sit in equal first place on top of the Australian conference, together with the Brumbies.
Jed Holloway is progressing well and has been flagged for an earlier-than-expected return after injuring his shoulder last Friday.
