Pumas side for Windhoek Clash
This week the Steval Pumas will travel to Windhoek for their second Vodacom Cup match of the series. Coaches MJ Mentz and Corne Steenkamp have made several changes to their starting 22-man squad for Friday evening, 13 March. Kick-off is 19:00 at Windhoek Stadium.
The scrumming due of Khwezi Mona and Drew van Coller has been picked. Mona moves to loose head. Rudi Mathee, the Steval Pumas former Super15 lock is back and is given a chance with the captain, Eduan van der Walt who will play his 96th game in a Puma jersey. The only unchanged combinations are the loose forwards, Brian Shabangu, Lambert Groenewald and Jason-ColinFraser and the mid-field pairing of Wilmaure Louw and Stefan Watermeyer. Justin van Staden will take the fly half position with Reynier van Rooyen as his scrum half. The sevens specialist, Ruwellyn Isbell is back on wing with Marcello Sampson and Heinrich Steyl on full back.
