Naivalu set to become 900th Qantas Wallaby

Melbourne Rebels flyer Sefanaia Naivalu is in line to become the 900th Wallaby after Qantas Wallabies coach Michael Cheika finalised his bench ahead of The Rugby Championship Test against South Africa at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on Sunday morning (1.00am AEST kick-off).

The 24-year old will also become the Wallabies 10th debutant of 2016, capping a rapid rise after being spotted in Melbourne’s Dewar Shield Club Rugby competition just two years ago.

Fellow Rebel James Hanson will get the chance to add to his 10 Tests after being named on the bench

The hooker’s last Test was over a year ago against the United States of America but he gets an opportunity in the absence of Tatafu Polota-Nau.

The Wallabies have never tasted victory at Loftus Versfeld but have won their last two games against the Springboks.

A win for Australia in Pretoria would all but secure second spot in The Rugby Championship with New Zealand having wrapped up the 2016 title.

The Test between the Qantas Wallabies and Argentina will be screened LIVE in High Definition and ad-break free on FOX SPORTS 502 from 12.25am AEST and LIVE on Ten from 12.50am AEST for QLD, NSW and ACT viewers (on ONE in other Australian States and Territories). Fans can also LIVE stream the match on Foxtel GO (for Foxtel subscribers) and on TenPlay.
