Simmons returns to Wallabies line up, as Robertson set to become eight debutant in 2016

Qantas Wallabies coach Michael Cheika has made just one change to his starting side for The Rugby Championship Test against Argentina at nib Stadium in Perth on Saturday night (6.05pm AWST kick-off).

Queensland Reds lock Rob Simmons returns to the starting side after two games for Queensland Country in the Buildcorp National Rugby Championship.

Simmons hasn’t featured in the Gold jersey since the Wallabies went down to the All Blacks at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium on August 20.

The 27-year old will partner Adam Coleman in the second row, in what will be the sixth different lock combination used by Michael Cheika in 2016.

Coleman and fellow Western Force star Dane Haylett-Petty will get the chance to run out in front of their home crowd while Reece Hodge retains his spot on the wing after an impressive run-on debut last weekend.

A Test debut beckons for Waratahs prop Tom Robertson, who is line to become the eighth Wallaby debutant this season after he was named on an extended bench.

Melbourne Rebels’ star Lopeti Timani has again been named amongst the reserves with the final decision on the bench to be confirmed after the Captain’s Run at nib Stadium tomorrow (Friday).

Henry Speight could also be set for a return to the Test arena for the first time since facing Uruguay at the 2015 Rugby World Cup, after impressing for the University of Canberra Vikings in the Buildcorp National Rugby Championship.

The Test between the Qantas Wallabies and Argentina will be screened LIVE in High Definition and ad-break free on FOX SPORTS 502 from 5.30pm AWST and LIVE on Ten from 5.30pm AWST for QLD, NSW, ACT and WA viewers (on ONE in other Australian States and Territories). Fans can also LIVE stream the match on Foxtel GO (for Foxtel subscribers) and on TenPlay.
