University of Queensland v Sunnybank, St.Lucia, 3.20pm – Game of the Round (LIVE streamed)
University of Queensland host Sunnybank in Round 7 of Queensland Premier Rugby. It is a rematch of last year’s preliminary final, where Sunnybank fell short in a 32-31 thriller. The Red Heavies are coming off a big win last week against Brothers 57-24, where they avenged last season’s grand final loss. The Red Heavies now have a five-point lead on the rest of the competition, but will be weary of the streak ending against the Dragons. Sunnybank comes into the match well rested after the bye and the team was building nicely prior to the break, with back-to-back wins over Bond and Easts. Be sure to tune into the live stream via redsrugby.com.au or Facebook LIVE.

Brothers v GPS, Crosby Park, 3.20pm
Brothers have struggled to put back-to-back performances together so far this season and sit just three points outside of the top four. The Premier Grade battle will be the final chapter in the day’s Flynn-Lewis Memorial Shield battle. Brothers will be looking to return to winning ways after a disappointing loss to UQ, while GPS are full of momentum. The Gallopers come into this match on the back of a 44-33 win over Norths. In all four of the Gallopers’ victories, they have managed to score 30 or more points so Brothers must tighten up their defence with a threatening GPS’ attack looming.

Easts v Wests, David Wilson Field, 3.20pm
Easts will be desperate to hang on to their top-four spot this week when they host Wests at David Wilson Field. With three sides breathing down their neck on the table, one of them being Wests, the Tigers will need to win this to stay in the top four. Wests come into this game on a roll, having run in 63 points against Souths last week. The Bulldogs had registered 41 of those points before halftime, as they relentlessly attacked Souths defence. With that in mind, the Tigers will have to lift because two weeks ago they fell short against the Magpies. Easts return home to Tigerland for the first time since Round 4.
Easts: Richie Asiata, Andrew Ready, Josef Horomia, Tyrekk Barker, Kane-Paul Smith, Tomas Milosevic, Michael Gunn, Max Allen, Billy Thompson, John Tibbetts, Navaitalai Tiko, Alfonso Horomia, Toby White, David Yabsley, Jonathan Wilder.

Norths v Souths, Hugh Courtney Oval, 3.20pm (LIVE streamed)
While they are yet to record their first win, Norths are coming off two impressive attacking performances that have them score 34 and 33 points respectively. This week, they host Souths at the Eagles’ Nest and will be desperate for their first win. Souths were building nicely until they hit a speed bump against the Bulldogs last weekend. They’ve been inconsistent this season with ill-discipline costing them at stages. Both Souths and Norths’ attack has been effective throughout the year so this match has potential to be a try-fest. It’s done or dies for the Eagles and a borderline must-win for the Magpies.
Norths: Tonga Maafu, Daniel Sutherland, AJ Campbell, Brent Jones, Lindsay Ward, Jack Dean, Saula Vuaca, Shane Tasi, Nicholas Chapman, Michael Burke, Kallum Mackay, Conor Chittenden, Brad Lacey, Veresa Mataitini, Thomas Da Forno
Coach: Nick Fogarty
Souths: Eric Teofilo, Maile Ngauamo, Michael Baice, Declan Dinnen, Bruce Stuart Williamson, Caleb Timu, Simana, Michael Tafili, Scott Malolua, Jake Milne, Mikaele Tela, Paul Brown, Levi Aumua, Keeghan Sefton, Niko Bueta.
Coach: Elia Tuqiri
