REGENT BOLAND CAVALIERS BLACK TIE EVENING AND PLAYER CAPPING
The Regent Boland Cavaliers held a Black Tie evening on Wednesday 05 March 2014 in the Flappie Lochner Hall at the Boland Rugby Stadium.
The purpose of the event was to introduce the first match-22 of the 2014 Vodacom Cup season and to present them with the new Regent Boland Cavaliers kit for 2014, but also to ‘cap’ the Boland Cavaliers players who have reached special milestones.
The following players were capped by BRU President Francois Davids, BRU CEO Willie Small, Regent Boland Cavaliers Coach Abe Davids and BRU Executive Member Bertram Vraagom:
50 CAPS: PJ van Zyl (58 caps), Franzel September (65 caps), Brendon April (66 caps), Zandre Jordaan (66 caps – absent due to injury).
100 CAPS: Clemen Lewis (102 caps)
150 CAPS: Neil Papier (154 caps – Boland Cavaliers Record)
