RFU Disciplinary for Chris Ashton
Chris Ashton of Saracens will appear before an RFU disciplinary panel charged with acts contrary to good sportsmanship (law 10.4(m)).
Ashton was cited for two incidents during the weekend’s Aviva Premiership match between Saracens and Northampton Saints.
The Saracens winger is alleged to have bitten Alex Waller of Northampton Saints on two separate occasions. The first occurred in the 24th minute of the match and the second incident, one minute later.
The player will appear before an RFU disciplinary panel chaired by Philip Evans QC with Tom Rees and Paula Carter in London tomorrow evening (Tuesday 20th September).
