SA Rugby extends condolences to Ncinane family
SA Rugby president, Mr Mark Alexander, on Friday expressed condolences to the family of Zandisile John Ncinane, who will be laid to rest on Saturday.
The former Border Rugby Union president passed away earlier this month.
Ncinane, who also served on the National Sports Council and was an ex-ANC parliamentarian, served as Border president in the early 2000s.
He was actively involved in other sports as well, including athletics, where he was one of the founding members of Athletics South Africa.
“John certainly made his mark as a sport administrator over many decades,β said Mr Alexander. βHe not only served rugby, but all sports and his contribution for equal rights in sports will be remembered by all. Our prayers and condolences goes out to his family.β
