Sharks injury list leading up to the Currie Cup final
On Saturday, The Sharks head to Newlands to take on Western Province in the Final of the Absa Currie Cup 2013.
“Going to Newlands to play Western Province in the Final is a daunting task, but we’re looking forward to it. They’re a quality outfit, unbeaten in the tournament so far so we’ll need to be at the top of our game to get a win there,” said Sharks forwards coach Brad Macleod-Henderson.
Ahead of the final, Dr Alan Kourie, The Sharks Team Doctor, has released the below injury update:
Kyle Cooper – Kyle picked up a slight knock to his shoulder against the Free State Cheetahs, but will be fine for the final.
Willem Alberts – Fit again and ready for selection
Tendai Mtawarira – Fit again and ready for selection
Jannie du Plessis – Final assessment to be done tomorrow
Jean Deysel – Final assessment to be done tomorrow
Sean Everitt commented: “The guys are in good spirits and are obviously looking forward to the challenge.”
