Southern Kings injury update
The Southern Kings have taken a few injuries following the pre-season friendly against the SWD Eagles at Outeniqua Park in George.
Southern Kings Head Coach, Deon Davids, said Hooker Edgar Marutlulle had sustained a blow to the head which resulted in a cut to the ear, while Prop Jacobie Adriaanse suffered a concussion in the clash against the SWD Eagles.
Davids said Schalk Oelofse had also sustained a minor calf strain and was being monitored.
Davids said he was very happy with the first friendly against SWD Eagles, which had allowed coaches to focus on combinations, as well as improving the team’s performance from the NMMU game.
