The Mpumalanga Rugby Union and the Mpumalanga Black Aces Soccer team are proud to announce that they have made history today, by signing an R10-million anchor tenant deal with the Mbombela Local Municipality.

“This is a first of its kind and we are proud to say we have two premiership sport teams in the province of different sporting codes who share one stadium. We are proud of these two teams, the Steval Pumas who has shown that the relocation to the city has paid off and the Mpumalanga Black Aces who will be relocating soon,” Executive Mayor Sibusiso Mathonsi said.

R5-million will be granted to each team within the next 12 months.

Should there be any other enquiries with regards to this deal, please feel free to contact George Stainton, Mpumalanga Rugby (PTY) Ltd commercial marketing manager on 082-770-0402.
