Steval Pumas medical report
The medical team of the Steval Pumas has released the following statement with regards to injuries in the squad after the first Vodacom Cup match between the Pumas and Down Touch Griffons on Friday evening, 6 March. According to the team physiotherapist, Luzahn Louw:
- Khwezi Mona – is struggling with a groin injury (he will however undergo a fitness test tomorrow)
- Lambert Groenewald – has a neck spasm and knee bruise, but will join in training today with no contact
- Brian Shabangu – sustained a neck muscle injury during the game. He will train today, but without contact
(he too will do a fitness test tomorrow)
- JW Bell has been cleared for this weekend’s game against the Namibians
