Steval Pumas medical report 5th September 2016
Three Steval Pumas players picked up injuries in the tough match against Boland last Friday. Herewith the medical report from physiotherapist Luzahn Louw:
New injuries:
• Nardus van der Walt has a ruptured ACL and will have to undergo surgery. He will unfortunately be out of action for 6-8 months.
• Hugo Kloppers is sitting out training today with a shoulder contusion but will be ready for limited contact training later in the week.
• Khwezi Mona has a minor ankle sprain and will have a clearance test today.
Update on other injuries:
• Hennie Skorbinski has been directed not to run and will have an evaluation for his hamstring strain today.
• JP Lewis is doing limited training while being evaluated for his hamstring injury.
The Steval Pumas face the Vodacom Blue Bulls in a crunch encounter at Mbombela Stadium at 19:10 on Saturday. The team for the match will be finalised by Thursday.
