Stringer replaces Ludlow in England U20 EPS
SARACENS flanker Hayden Stringer has replaced injured Gloucester Rugby back row Lewis Ludlow in the England Under 20 squad for the rest of the season.
Former England Under 18 player Stringer comes in for Ludlow who injured his knee while playing for Gloucester in their LV= Cup game against Scarlets on January 24. England U20 Head Coach Nick Walshe said: “It’s hugely disappointing for Lewis but we wish him well in what we hope will be a speedy recovery. Hayden has been to several Under 20 camps over the past couple of months and has played for the Under 18s, so he knows the system and we’re confident that, if called upon, he will do a good job for us.” |
