THE OFFICIAL TOYOTA CHEETAH BLK EPCR CHALLENGE CUP JERSEY
In a celebration of past and present, the Toyota Cheetahs will pay homage to their Northern Hemisphere footprint as they begin a new chapter in the EPCR Challenge Cup.
An inspired visual tribute, the Challenge Cup jersey features white hoops that contract brightly against the team’s traditional orange, accented by piping detail in black and chevrons on the side panels.
Jerseys are available online at www.blksport.co.za or visit the Cheetah Shop at Toyota stadium.
The Toyota Cheetahs have been invited to play in the 2022/23 EPCR Challenge Cup together with 19 clubs that have qualified, from the United Rugby Championship (URC), TOP 14, and Gallagher Premiership. The participants qualify on merit and performance in their respective domestic leagues.
The Toyota Cheetahs will play two matches at ‘home’ (Parma) and two away in Pool B against Section Paloise from France and the Scarlets from Wales. Their two ‘home’ matches will be staged in Parma, Italy.
The six highest-ranked clubs in Pool A and the six highest-ranked clubs in Pool B – as well as four clubs from the Heineken Champions Cup – will qualify for a Round of 16 in late March/early April 2023. That will be followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the EPCR Challenge Cup final on Friday, 19 May 2023, at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium.
