The Sharks Medical Update and Injury List
25 June 2013:This week sees Vodacom Super Rugby action make a welcome return after the June international window. The Sharks will be determined to finish the tournament strongly, when they take on the Blues on Saturday, 29th June at Growthpoint KINGS PARK. Kick-off is at 14:50.
Commenting on the upcoming game, Sharks captain Keegan Daniel said, “The Blues have quite a bit of x-factor in their team, we know they are dangerous from anywhere on the field. We need to focus on ourselves, we want to go out there and express ourselves.
“The calibre of players we have returning from Springbok duty is a massive boost for us. We also had guys playing against the Lions who put their hands up and players returning from injury. We just want to play some great rugby.”
Ahead of this weekend’s match, Dr Alan Kourie, The Sharks Team Doctor, has released a medical update on the players that have been side-lined due to injury.
