Thomas Odundo Appointed D.o.R
Thomas Odundo has been appointed as the Kenya Rugby Union’s new Director of Rugby.
The former Kenyan international who later coached the national team between 2004 & 2006 will begun his new role on Monday 1 August 2016.
“This is a challenge and an opportunity I’ll approach with total commitment,” Odundo said.
“I’m delighted to have been offered this opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the strength and well-being of Kenyan rugby.”
He is tasked with setting up pathways to grow the game within the country, serving as a resource person between the union and the affiliates.
KRU Chief Executive Officer Ronald Bukusi said of Odundo’s appointment, “ Thomas has been involved with the game from his club days at Kenya Harlequin and he is a determined and focused individual who will bring immense passion, energy and rugby knowledge to the role.”
