Three changes for DHL WP U19
DHL Western Province U19 coach Nazeem Adams has made three changes to his starting line-up to face Leopards U19 in Potchefstroom on Friday.
The only change to the forward pack sees Lee-Marvin Mazibuko get an opportunity to start at tighthead prop, with Carlu Sadie set to provide cover from the replacements bench.
In the backline wing Tumi Mogoje has been ruled out with a hamstring strain so Ryan Muller takes his place out wide, whilst Cyprian Nkomo will make his DHL Western Province U19 debut at inside centre having recently recovered from a knee injury.
Adams said that whilst it has been satisfying to win their first four games, his team are intent on raising their standards this weekend.
“We want to focus on ourselves and specifically cutting down on our unforced errors and tightening up our defence.
“We are determined to improve every week, and although the results have gone our way so far we are still far from where we would like to be,” he said.
The DHL Western Province U19 coach added that his team will have their work cut out for them if they are to register another win away from home.
“It is never easy to go up to Potchefstroom, but the focus is on playing to the best of our ability, and if we manage that then the score will take care of itself,” he said.
