Toyota Cheetahs take on Ospreys in Round 16
The Toyota Cheetahs will be facing Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea at 19:30 he log leaders, Glasgow on Saturday 24 February.
The two sides met in Bloemfontein in round 5 with Cheetahs victorious 44-25.
The following players are not eligible for team selection due to injury:
William Small-Smith (knee), Dennis Visser (knee), Tian Meyer (groin), Niell Jordaan (ankle), Elandré Huggett (knee) Ruan van Rensburg, (knee), Lloyd Greeff (shoulder), Tom Botha (calf), Luan de Bruin.
The team will be travelling back to South Africa on Sunday for the home game against Connacht on Saturday, 3 March at 19:35 (SA time) in Toyota Stadium, Bloemfontein.
The match will not be broadcast on TV.
The reason is that the 2017/18 Guinness PRO14 championship was finalised in a short amount of time and that TV broadcasting rights was the cause of some challenges. Unfortunately this match clashes with football and the fact that Ierland and Wales will be playing in a Six Nations match, which is one of the biggest derbies in Europe.
The TV programs and broadcasts for the new season (from 1 September 2018) is currently under discussion and planning and promises to offer supporters a better product. Meetings in this regard will be held next week and next month in Dublin.
Supporters can still follow the game on one of the following platforms: Facebook/CheetahsRugby, Twitter/CheetahsRugby, Cheetahs Rugby App available for Apple and Android phones
