Toyota Cheetahs to play in Nelspruit
The Toyota Cheetahs will be travelling to Nelspruit to take on the Phakisa Pumas in their third In Carling Currie Cup game on Friday, 18 December.
The action kicks off at 19:00 with a live broadcast on SuperSport. Due to Covid-19 regulations, supporters will not be able to attend the match.
Coach Hawies Fourie announced his team with various changes from last week:
• Marnus van der Merwe will be the starting hooker with Louis van der Westhuizen providing cover on the bench.
• The locks are Carl Wegner and Reniel Hugo. Oupa Mohoje is on reserve.
• Ruben de Haas will be the starting scrumhalf with Tian Meyer providing cover.
• Frans Steyn moves to flyhalf
• The wings are William Small-Smith and Duncan Saal, with Saal making his Currie Cup debut for the Toyota Cheetahs
• Howard Mnisi and Dries Swanepoel are the two centers
• Rhyno Smith and Chris Massyn are new to the bench.
