The Toyota Cheetahs will be facing the Vodacom Bulls in their second Vodacom Super Rugby home game on Saturday 4 March 2017 in Toyota Stadium, Bloemfontein. Coach Franco Smith has named his team for the match that kicks off at 19:30. Gates open at 15:00. Two club teams, Crusaders and Old Grey’s will face each other in a curtain raiser that kicks off at 17:15.

Changes to the team from last week:

Ox Nche will be starting as a prop, replacing Charles Marais who will be moving to the bench.
Ryno Benjamin will be replacing Sergeal Petersen who is sidelined due to a knee injury sustained in the match against the Lions last week.
Ruan van Rensburg is new on the bench and will be making his Vodacom Super Rugby debut when he runs onto the field.

“Our focus this week will be to keep the ball in hand and to get points on the board when we are in the attacking zone”, said assistant coach, Corniel van Zyl.

“We left a lot of points on the field last week and we will be more clinical this week. The Bulls also lost last week and we expect them to come here with everything they’ve got.” Torsten van Jaarsveld, captain.

The referee for the game is Shuhei Kubo. He will be assisted by AJ Jacobs and Louwrens van der Merwe. The TMO is Marius Jonker.

Entertainment

The Toyota Cheetahs invites supporters to enjoy a fun-filled day at Toyota Stadium with a new braai facility and the enlarged family-friendly alcohol-free area. Dewald Wasserfall will be providing entertainment on the Castle Deck after the match.

Ticket prices: Main Stand – R80. Open Stand – R60 for adults and R20 for kids.
