Two changes for DHL WP U19 15 Spetember 2016
DHL Western Province U19 coach Nazeem Adams has had to make two changes to his team to face the Leopards U19, at DHL Newlands, on Saturday.
Adams’ charges will be aiming for their 10th win from 11 games this season, in their penultimate match before the knock-out phase of the competition.
The only change to the backline, for a match which kicks off at 12h00 on Saturday, sees John Lourens start at outside centre, in place of the injured David Brits.
In the forward pack a fit-again Nama Xaba returns at flank in place of Cobus Wiese, who has been called up to the DHL Western Province U21 team.
Adams said that continuity in selection is vital at this stage of the season, as his team looks to continue their winning momentum.
“It is crucial that we head towards the semifinals with settled combinations, so that the players can gain confidence and an understanding of each other.
“Our focus is completely on our own game, as we seek to improve in a number of areas to ensure that we can make the most of the opportunities that come our way,” he said.
