U13, U16 Coca-Cola Youth Week teams to showcase talent
The U13 Coca-Cola Craven Week and U16 Coca-Cola Grant Khomo Week teams will go flat-out to showcase their talent this week at Hoërskool Diamantveld in Kimberley in a jam-packed second week in the SA Rugby Youth Weeks festival.
Both the U13 and U16 teams will take to the field on Monday, while they will play on alternate days from Tuesday to Thursday, with the U13’s playing their second round of matches on Tuesday, while both tournaments will conclude in a another full day’s action on Friday.
In the U16 Coca-Cola Grant Khomo Week, four matches will be played concurrently in the opening slot of the day at 10h30, with Free State meeting SWD, Bidvest Waltons Golden Lions taking on the Blue Bulls, Limpopo battling it out with the Valke, and Old Mutual Zimbabwe meeting Border CD.
The other big match-ups will see the Sharks take on Boland, and hosts, Griquas, meeting the King Price Pumas, while DHL Western Province – who took the honours last season – will go up against Border.
The U13 Coca-Cola Craven Week will also start off with a bang with the Sharks going up against the Itec Blue Bulls, Boland and the Pumas going head-to-head, Old Mutual Zimbabwe taking on Forever Resorts Limpopo and Border CD lining up against the Thepa Trading Griffons in the opening matches at 09h30.
In other notable games, hosts, Xerox Griquas, take on Eastern Province, and DHL Western Province, who were the top team last season, go up against the Leopards.
The entry fee for spectators at Hoërskool Diamantveld is R20 per person per day.
